Some insurances do cover doula support and we think that’s awesome. Balanced Birth Doula Agency is not in network with any insurance providers and we do not bill insurance on your behalf. We’re happy to provide a superbill to you after services so that you can submit for reimbursement from your insurance. We do not guarantee any insurance will reimburse you for services and require payment in full by 36 weeks of pregnancy.
Absolutely. We are happy to invoice you monthly from when you hire us through 36 weeks of pregnancy at which time we require payment in full before going on call for your estimated due date.
We partner with Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies of Georgia and can offer scholarships for doula support several times throughout the year for Georgia residents. Email us to see if there are any scholarships currently available.

You’ll be assigned a primary doula who will support you throughout your pregnancy and birth so that you build a strong and trusting relationship with her. You’ll also have a backup doula in case of emergency so rest assured, you will never be without support at any time and you will always know who is supporting you.
As long as your preferred doula has your estimated due date available, then you can pick whichever doula on our team that you prefer! We will assign a backup doula to you as well in case of emergency.
Our doulas rarely miss births, but sometimes babies are in a rush to be born and don’t wait for all of their support team to arrive! If you birth before our doula can get to your location then we’re happy to discuss alternative support such as postpartum or lactation support. If your doula has an emergency and is unable to attend your birth, then your backup doula will support you so you will never be without doula support.
