What is a Doula and Why Should I Hire One?
A doula is more than a birth attendant — they are your advocate, confidant, and knowledgeable support system from pregnancy through postpartum. Our team of experienced doulas is dedicated to ensuring you feel empowered, informed, and cared for every step of the way.
Pregnancy
During your pregnancy, we are there to provide personalized education, helping you understand your options and preferences for childbirth. We are also there to provide emotional support, to listen to your concerns and your fears while offering reassurance and encouragement every step of the way.
Labor & Birth
When the big day arrives, we are by your side making sure you are as comfortable as possible. Through multiple techniques we help you manage pain and promote the labor process. All the while we are working hand in hand with your care team to ensure that your birth preferences are understood and respected.
Benefits of having a doula

-
Doulas empower families to make informed decisions about their pregnancy, labor, birth options, and postpartum care by providing evidence-based information and education.
-
Doulas are there to ensure that the birthing person’s birth plan, wishes and preferences are known during the labor and birth by assisting with communication between the birthing person, partner/family, and care team.
